Cedars Ranch Interior Renderings
Process and design deliberations ~ a sneakpeek of architecture in the works for the Texas Hill Country. Sketches, digital models and even small mock ups become part of the design process. We have been fortunate to collaborate, over the past year, on this multi phase project with ACRE Architects of New Brunswick. It has been our pleasure working with wonderful clients to achieve their vision of a unique Hill Country wedding venue along with our Canadian architecture colleagues.
The dance hall pictured above is an open air barn style venue with exposed heavy timber structure. Collapsible doors allow the space to become a covered extension of the exterior landscaped plaza directly adjacent to the dance floor. A white washed ceiling and exterior walls, counter the dark wood interior walls and floor to brighten the space to reinforce a modern yet rustic tone for a truly unique weddingstyle.
The cabin, pictured below, functions both as a pre-ceremony spa like eco-retreat great for wedding preparations and relaxing and afterwards as a honeymoon cabin for the newlyweds. The stone is quarried from the site and the modern tailored aesthetic is consistent with the rest of this destination Wimberley property. Can you picture it?
