Hip Hop Architecture Camp

hiphop-architecture

Our studio’s been blessed this week with the Hip Hop Architecture camp here in Austin ~ Jamie & Ricardo have shared their love of design, music and architecture with some great kids in our community.

Designer Michael Ford (the Hip Hop Architect) and Tiffany Brown founded the non profit The Urban Arts Collective in Detroit and brought their passion and vision for this important camp to Austin this week with the generous support of Autodesk, the assistance of our local architecture music and art community, and Huston-Tillotson University.

Students have worked with local hip hop artist Saul Paul, music studio engineers, volunteers from Matt Fajkus Architecture, LLC, and dwg.  Special thanks goes to our local organizer Devanne Pena an Architect with Page!!!
